The historic Alster boat trip is a special cruise on Germany`s oldest steam boat `St. Georg`.The tour will be operated by `Verein Alsterdampfschifffahrt e.V.` Departure: march 5th. - october 30th.: Jungfernstieg pier 4 daily 10.45h to 16.45h every 60 minutes Children to the age of 16 can go for free In the time of october 31st. - march 24th. are no Alster boat trips available.

On board the “St. Georg”, Germany’s oldest steam boat built in 1876, you can experience a really special Alster cruise. Like in the good old days, the “St. Georg” is operated by a crew of three men. The museum ship is still in its original state and has been renovated with attention to detail. Go on a trip into the past.

On our cruise, we show you the fancy villa’s of the V.I.P’s! Enjoy the beautiful and breathtaking view of the city and the lake.

We start at Hamburg’s boulevard Jungfernstieg and cruise underneath Lombardsbridge towards the outer Alster. Our relaxed cruise continues along the elegant villas of Uhlenhorst and Bellevue. You can experience inside views, which you would not be able to see on a tour by bus. Along the banks of Harvestehude and its parks, our ship goes back to Jungfernstieg, where our scenic tour ends.
